Responsibilities:
- Drive demand via education after potential regulatory approval for assigned product.
- Educate healthcare providers and optimize opportunities in dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Support account onboarding through education; conduct clinical selling and deliver the clinical value proposition.
- Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff; coordinate clinical education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts within dermatology practices/clinics and independent physician offices.
- Achieve territory sales goals and key metrics; execute franchise and brand strategy/tactics in the assigned segment.
- Develop relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Present complex clinical/business information; develop and deliver targeted sales messaging using approved materials.
- Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement.
- Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; continually update knowledge.
- Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets).
- Follow compliance policies, guidelines, and training; demonstrate patient-first values.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA.
- Required: 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Highly preferred: experience calling on Dermatologists/Dermatology.
- Business/strategic planning; understanding of managed care; strong communication and collaboration.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred:
- 5+ years direct selling to healthcare professionals; Dermatology calling; complex reimbursement experience.
Licenses/Travel:
- Valid Driverβs License; ability to drive/fly; 25β50% overnight travel.
