About the Role
- Drive demand after potential regulatory approval through education.
- Educate healthcare providers (HCPs) and optimize business opportunities in Dermatology-focused physician offices, key clinics, and hospital accounts.
- Build and apply business processes that benefit patients and achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Support account onboarding via education.
- Perform clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers across the brand educational continuum.
- Provide initial clinical/patient access education; coordinate HCP education (e.g., peer-to-peer).
- Manage accounts in Dermatology practices/clinics/independent offices.
- Meet territory sales goals and key metrics; execute brand strategy/tactics in assigned customer segments (physicians, staff, hospital specialists, support staff, pharmacists).
- Build relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use.
- Develop and deliver targeted sales messages using approved materials and medical reprints; discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Execute local marketing strategies to build engagement and educate key local decision makers.
- Present complex clinical/business information to Dermatologists and relevant professional/patient groups.
- Develop and implement medical education opportunities and sponsor programs.
- Manage allocated resources (budgets, managed markets, medical affairs, etc.).
Minimum Requirements
- BS/BA.
- 3+ years successful selling experience (pharma/biotech/medical device) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; or 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Managed care understanding; strong communication, influencing, presentation, and written skills.
- Collaboration/team success.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.
Preferred
- 5+ years direct selling to HCPs; Dermatologist calling experience.
- Experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Licenses/Travel
- Valid Driverβs License.
- Ability to drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel (25β50%).
