Territory: Covers the greater Pittsburgh, PA area and surrounding areas (Relocation assistance not provided).

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific knowledge, business acumen, and customer engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
- Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape and refer customers to appropriate resources (e.g., Payer Relations Managers, HUB, approved materials) following GSK guidelines and values.
- Maintain deep immunology therapeutic knowledge (including rheumatologic and nephrology conditions) and translate clinical insights into customer engagements.
- Deliver product educational programs/in-services.
- Work within compliance guidelines and GSK values.
- Develop sales strategies/tactics.
- Develop account-specific strategies for customer audiences (e.g., nurses, mid-levels, business/office managers).
- Build relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations (Market Access), Medical (MSLs), and other internal functions.
- Manage allocated resources and provide responsive customer service.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (accredited institution).
- Domestic travel as necessary (up to 20% overnight, in some territories).
- Valid driverโ€™s license; ability to drive/operate a vehicle (essential).
- Hire level based on experience:
- Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8): 5+ years pharmaceutical/medical device experience.
- Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7): 12+ years pharmaceutical/medical device experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Buy & Bill or Specialty pharmacy distribution.
- Expertise working with Payer Reimbursement Managers.
- Calling on rheumatologists and other specialty HCPs.
- Sales success in rheumatology, immunology, or nephrology.
- Experience with large integrated health systems/IDNs.

Work Arrangement:
- Field-based; regular travel within territory and occasional beyond. Driving is essential.
