Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Sr. Director, Global Head of Corporate Brand and Creative to identify social media priorities, manage resources, and support execution of key initiatives.
- Design, implement, manage, and measure targeted paid social media programs across Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Manage the master social media editorial calendar with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and cross-functional teams (Product Communications, Global Medical, Investor Relations, HR/Talent Acquisition).
- Develop corporate and disease awareness content; oversee day-to-day publishing, monitoring, engagement, maintenance, and issue escalation.
- Collaborate with internal/external partners to develop social-first content aligned to platform best practices, company standards, and applicable regulatory/legal considerations.
- Partner with agency/creative resources; perform light design work using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Analyze performance, produce dashboards/measurement reports, and turn insights into optimization recommendations.
- Evaluate 3rd-party tools/technology (including AI) to scale social media workflow and implement selected solutions.
- Conduct social listening and competitive analysis to identify trends, influencers, opportunities, and risks.
- Manage financial/administrative aspects of social media vendor engagements (SOWs, POs, invoicing).
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
- 3β5 yearsβ experience developing, managing, and measuring social media programs in pharma/biotech/healthcare/agency/regulated environment.
- Strong social media writing skills for audience-specific, platform-specific content.
- Experience with organic and paid social campaigns (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, Meta).
- Experience with social media management (e.g., Sprout, Sprinklr), listening, analytics, and reporting; Google Analytics familiarity preferred.
- Ability to create design assets/light graphic design; Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud preferred.
- Ability to shoot and edit video for social media.
- Interest in technology and functional understanding of AI in marketing/communications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
