Job Position Overview
The shop floor scheduler supports the Lebanon API Supply Chain team by managing process orders/batch records daily and ensuring an accurate production schedule through integrated tools and processes (short term 0β3 months; long term 3β24 months). Provides documentation support for manufacturing personnel, delivers OJT/ILT training, and serves as an SME working with the Master Scheduler. Supports site-wide improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily schedules to the production floor to maintain efficient plant operations and target API output.
- Lead/facilitate production/shop floor meetings (as applicable).
- Provide weekly and monthly metric updates to monitor and track plant operational performance.
- Assist and support Lebanon API OSSCE processes.
- Manage short- and long-term production plans.
- Convert, check component availability, and release process orders for the shop floor.
- Drive operations, QCL and QA to meet shop floor conformance expectations.
- Run MRP (Materials Requirement Planning).
- Conduct local recipe audits.
- Maintain S4Hana master data and serve as a power user for SAP.
- Input production plan into the master schedule; maintain scheduling parameters (e.g., time fences, lead times).
- Maintain SAP R/4 data via creation/change of BOMs, Resources, and Recipes.
- Manage and review local data changes; troubleshoot SAP data issues (as applicable).
- Follow all company safety policies, including PPE use where required.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Shop Floor Planning (preferably pharmaceutical or chemical).
- Functional expertise with SAP, Veeva, TrackWise, and/or Microsoft Office.
- Authorization to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor work authorization or visas.
