Role Summary

Senior Vice President, Customer Engagement oversees strategic oversight of Commercial Operations, Market Access, and Field Sales to ensure aligned account planning and field execution to drive revenue growth across the portfolio. Reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. Must translate strategies into effective actions and results.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic oversight of account teams development and implementation of strategic account plans to drive Vafseo utilization and net sales growth.
  • Lead a cross-functional commercial team including Field Sales, Market Access, National Accounts and Commercial Operations to drive collaboration and coordination.
  • Develop and execute strategies and tactics with key customers to ensure organizational productivity, analyzing market dynamics and trends to support brand objectives.
  • Attracting, recruiting, and retaining high caliber team members. Provide effective management and leadership of direct and indirect reports.
  • Work closely with Commercial Leadership to drive go-to-market strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Finance to achieve growth goals.
  • Develop annual operating budget and support the development of sales compensation plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with a deep understanding of sales, market access, and commercial operations functions
  • 5+ years of management experience, leading high-performing teams across diverse functions, including Sales, Commercial Operations, and Market Access

Skills

  • Renal therapeutic area experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior management and establish effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker and decision maker with track record of developing strategic recommendations incorporating diverse stakeholder input

Education

  • MBA, MPH preferred
