Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Rheumatology - Jacksonville, FL. Field-based role accountable for appropriate adoption of BMS Rheumatology portfolio and generating demand through differentiated scientific engagement with health care providers, thought leaders, and community-based physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Organizes promotional programs such as lunch and learn and speaker programs.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
  • Maximizes AI-based targeting capabilities to define call plans.
  • Participates in omnichannel interactions with customers.
  • Maintains high level of scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data convincingly to support patient care.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills; proven account management and sales performance.
  • Experience building relationships with key customers and office staff; customer-centric mindset for differentiating Customer Experience (Cx).
  • Experience in Rheumatology preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.

Education

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driverβ€šΓ„Γ΄s license and ability to operate a company-provided vehicle where required.
  • Field-based with travel to meet with external customers; on-site requirements as dictated by role.
