Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in the appropriate patient population by providing differentiated customer experience through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact.
- Collaborate with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results.
- Field-based role; anticipated 100% of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications within territory; create demand using balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise; develop and implement territory/account plans; use CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights and inform call plans.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Present label-consistent approved information; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; stay current on emerging data; engage Medical on Call for unsolicited questions/technical inquiries.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with field teams to improve customer experience; share internal insights; comply with all applicable laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility with key customers and customer-influence network; customer-centric mindset.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Account management and selling competency; track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness; positive team mindset and can-do attitude.
