Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in an assigned territory by engaging HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs; serve as primary point of contact.
- Liaise with other BMS functions to deliver timely, scientific support; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products and business performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly; create demand with balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow product and therapeutic-area expertise; develop territory and account plans; use CE^3 tools (when implemented) for insights and dynamic call planning.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Use approved resources accurately; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; stay current on emerging data; engage Medical on Call for medical/technical inquiries; collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally; comply with relevant laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with customers; customer-centric mindset.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Strong account management, selling, promotional, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with positive, can-do attitude.
