Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines within the assigned portfolio for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact.
- Liaise with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products while meeting business objectives.
- Field-based: spend 100% of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications within territory/region to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement territory and account plans.
- Use CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for improvement.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Use approved resources/publications to present accurate, label-consistent information.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns).
- Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau approved list).
- Stay current on emerging data for approved indications.
- Engage Medical on Call for unsolicited questions/complex technical inquiries.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams to enhance HCP Customer Experience.
- Share insights internally with appropriate stakeholders.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly.
- Proven credibility-building with customers and a customer-centric mindset.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Account management skills, selling competencies, and demonstrated sales performance (meeting/exceeding goals).
- Ability to work cross-functionally with positive, can-do attitude.

Compensation
- Field (US): $144,500 - $175,100 (plus potential incentive cash/stock based on eligibility).
