Position Summary:
Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a field-based role (anticipated 100% time in the field) responsible for driving demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines in the appropriate patient population through a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote approved indications within a defined territory to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by communicating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain and grow scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership.
- Provide fair & balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources/publications with medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns).
- Organize external speaker programs (within Speakers Bureau-approval process).
- Stay current on emerging data for approved indications.
- Engage Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions/complex technical inquiries.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and share insights internally.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to accurately and convincingly communicate scientific/clinical data.
- Proven credibility-building with key customers/HCP influence network.
- Oncology experience preferred.
- Demonstrated account management and superior selling/promotion skills; track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with positive, can-do mindset.
