Position Summary:
- Drive demand for Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) medicines in the assigned portfolio for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact.
- Field-based role; anticipated to spend 100% of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications within a defined territory/region to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain and grow high-level scientific expertise in assigned products/therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use CE^3 insights to dynamically inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Present accurate, medical-label-consistent information using approved resources.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns).
- Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau approved list; scheduling/logistics).
- Stay current on emerging data for approved indications.
- Use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams to optimize HCP Customer Experience (Cx).
- Gather and share relevant internal insights with stakeholders.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly.
- Proven credibility-building with key customers and customer influence network; customer-centric mindset.
- Hematology/Oncology experience required.
- Demonstrated account management and selling competencies; track record meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with positive, can-do attitude.

- Field (United States): $144,500β$175,100 (full-time); additional incentive cash/stock may be available (eligibility-based).
