Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Neuroscience - Zeposia - El Paso, TX. The TAS is a field-based role focusing on delivering differentiated scientific dialogue and customer experience to drive adoption of BMS medicines for appropriate patients. Requires building credibility with regional thought leaders and HCPs, collaborating cross-functionally, and prioritizing safe and appropriate product use while achieving business results.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients; maintains and grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses available tools (e.g., CE^3) to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Conducts in-office presentations and discusses product-related scientific information consistent with label.
  • Organizes external speaker programs and coordinates scheduling and logistics with approved speakers.
  • Maintains working expertise on emerging data for approved indications; facilitates real-time medical support as needed.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure a high Customer Experience and complies with all laws, regulations, and policies.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing roles.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians to support patient care.
  • Demonstrated credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create a differentiated Customer Experience.
  • Experience in Neurology preferred; strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive, collaborative attitude; strong promotional skills.

Education

  • Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience.
