Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist β€šΓ„Γ¬ Neuroscience, Cobenfy, based in Charleston, SC (also open to Florence, SC; Statesboro, SC; Myrtle Beach, SC). The Sr. TAS drives demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for appropriate patients, engaging Health Care Providers (HCPs) with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue aligned with the label, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3. The role builds credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as the primary contact, collaborates with other BMS functions to deliver a higher Cx, and prioritizes safe and appropriate use of BMS products while achieving business results and upholding BMS values. The position is field-based, with 100% of time spent in the field with external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains/grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Proactively uses tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership to enable continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to help physicians serve patients.
  • Credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
  • Experience in Psychiatry preferred.
  • Strong account management, superior selling competencies, and a proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
