Role Summary

The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) for Neuroscience, Cobenfy, is a field-based role dedicated to driving demand for BMS medicines within an assigned territory. The TAS engages Health Care Providers (HCPs) with a differentiated Customer Experience through scientific dialogue aligned with product labels, builds credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians, and collaborates with other BMS functions to deliver high-quality Customer Experience while prioritizing safe and appropriate product use and achieving business objectives. The position requires 100% time in the field with external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for tool improvement.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience (healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, nurse).
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to physicians.
  • Proven credibility with key customers and strong account management skills; track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Experience in Psychiatry preferred.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong selling/promotional skills demonstrated by performance.
