Position: Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TA: Psychiatry)
Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines for appropriate patients within a defined territory.
- Engage HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) via deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact.
- Ensure safe and appropriate use of BMS products while meeting business results and performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 to derive insights and inform call planning; provide feedback to leadership.
- Deliver fair, balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources; ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations and organize/coordinate external speaker programs.
- Engage Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally; comply with relevant laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Track record building credibility with customers and delivering differentiated Cx.
- Proven account management, selling, and performance against goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness with a positive, can-do mindset.

Compensation
- Field (US): $139,230β$168,714 (plus potential incentives/stock based on eligibility).
