Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS Psychiatry medicines for appropriate patients by engaging HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
- Serve as primary field point of contact for regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs; liaise with BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
- Prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products; operate as a field-based role with ~100% time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications to meet/exceed sales targets; create demand using balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise; develop and implement territory/account plans; use CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Present label-consistent science to HCPs; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; monitor emerging approved-indication data; use Medical on Call for unsolicited/complex inquiries.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other field teams; share relevant insights internally; comply with governing laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nurse roles.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with key customers/office staff; customer-centric mindset.
- Experience in Neurology preferred.
- Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work cross-functionally; positive can-do attitude.
