Position: Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS), Cardiovascular Specialty – Portland, OR (Field-based)
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved BMS indications in a defined territory to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by communicating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
- Maintain and grow scientific expertise; prepare territory/account plans.
- Use tools (e.g., SOPHIA, CE^3) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Deliver fair/balanced scientific dialogue consistent with label (presentations, lunch & learns).
- Organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau–approved lists; logistics/scheduling).
- Use Medical on Call for real-time, unsolicited and technical questions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve HCP Customer Experience (Cx).
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/ML S/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with key customers and a customer-centric mindset.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Strong account management and selling skills; proven sales performance.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally.
