Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in a defined territory for appropriate patients via differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders, physicians/HCPs, and stakeholders as primary point of contact.
- Field-based role: spend 100% of time in the field with external customers; prioritize safe/appropriate product use and business performance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications; create compliant demand and articulate clinical/scientific rationale.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (once implemented) for insights, dynamic call planning, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Deliver fair and balanced scientific dialogue: presentations, lunch-and-learns, speaker program support, track emerging data.
- Engage Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams and share insights internally.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharma/biotech experience (healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse).
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Demonstrated credibility-building with customers; cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Strong account management, selling, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Effective cross-functional teamwork; strong selling/promotional skills.
