Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Specialty, Nashville W, TN. Field-based role focused on driving demand for BMS medicines within the assigned portfolio, engaging Health Care Providers with scientifically grounded conversations, and delivering a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) while ensuring compliant and ethical promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses tools such as SOPHIA to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrates scientific expertise and conducts in-office presentations and discussions consistent with the label.
  • Organizes external speaker programs and coordinates scheduling and logistics with approved speakers.
  • Maintains working knowledge of emerging data for approved indications and engages Medical on Call for real-time support.
  • Collaborates with other field teams to optimize Customer Experience for HCPs and shares insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct of BMS.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotechnology as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
  • Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to help physicians serve patients.
  • Proven credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
  • Experience in cardiovascular field preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling skills, and track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
  • Strong promotional and selling skills with a proven performance record.

Education

  • Advanced scientific degree preferred.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to operate a Company-provided vehicle; valid driver's license and acceptable driving risk level as determined by the Company.
