Position Summary
- Field-based Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) driving demand for Bristol Myers Squibb medicines within a defined territory by delivering a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue with HCPs.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications compliantly to meet/exceed assigned sales targets.
- Create demand by communicating the clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build and maintain scientific expertise; prepare and execute territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Present scientific information to HCPs (e.g., lunch & learns) and organize external speaker programs.
- Engage Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams; share internal insights with stakeholders.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly.
- Track record building credibility with customers and delivering differentiated Cx.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Strong account management, selling competencies, and sales performance.
- Cross-functional effectiveness with a can-do attitude.
