Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS cardiovascular medicines by engaging HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue (including CE^3).
- Build and maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact.
- Liaise with other BMS functions to deliver higher Customer Experience (Cx), ensuring safe and appropriate product use while meeting business results.
- Field-based role spending much time with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand using balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise.
- Build and implement territory/account plans; use SOPHIA for insights and call planning; provide tool feedback to leadership.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Present approved scientific resources accurately and ensure medical accuracy.
- Run in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns); organize external speaker programs.
- Stay current on emerging data; use Medical on Call for unsolicited questions.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with field teams and share insights internally.
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharma/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately; demonstrated customer credibility.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Account management + selling competencies; track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness and compliance-minded teamwork.
