Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS cardiovascular medicines in a defined territory by engaging HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Maintain credibility with regional thought leaders and community physicians/HCPs; liaison with internal functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
- Prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products while meeting business results.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; build and execute territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 insights to inform call plans and provide feedback to leadership.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Use approved resources/publications to ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations and organize speaker programs.
- Maintain expertise on emerging data; use Medical on Call for technical questions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally.
Preferred Experience (Hospital/Institutional)
- Track record selling in hospital/institutional settings; call on hospital-based specialists.
- Knowledge of formulary access/pull-through; discharge planning/care transition workflows.
- Experience with IDN/health-system accounts; engage multidisciplinary care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Accurate communication of clinical/scientific data; cardiovascular experience.
- Strong account management and selling performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness; strong promotional skills.
