Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines within assigned portfolio for appropriate patients.
- Engage Health Care Providers (HCPs) with differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3.
- Build and maintain strong credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community physicians/HCPs (private practice, medical groups, office staff, and other stakeholders) as primary point of contact.
- Liaise with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results and performance objectives.
- Field-based role; spend much of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications in a defined territory to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly; create demand by communicating clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans; use SOPHIA to derive insights and inform call plans; provide tool experience feedback to leadership.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Use approved resources/publications accurately; conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns) consistent with label; organize external speaker programs (select approved speakers; manage scheduling/logistics); maintain expertise on emerging approved indication data; respond to unsolicited questions/technical inquiries via Medical on Call.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other field teams; gather/share insights internally with relevant stakeholders.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies governing conduct.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse roles.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians.
- Demonstrated credibility-building with key customers and office staff; customer-centric mindset.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Account management capability, selling competencies, and proven track record meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with positive, can-do attitude.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Field (United States): US $124,090β$150,370; additional incentive cash/stock may be available (eligibility-based).
