Position Summary
- Field-based TAS role (100% time in the field with external customers) driving demand for BMS medicines by delivering differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications within a territory to meet/exceed compliant sales targets.
- Create demand by communicating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conduct fair, balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources; ensure medical accuracy.
- Run in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau list); facilitate scheduling/logistics.
- Stay current on emerging data; provide real-time medical support via Medical on Call for unsolicited/complex inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams and share insights internally.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately to physicians.
- Proven credibility with customers/HCPs using a customer-centric mindset.
- Account management and selling competence with track record meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with positive, can-do mindset.
Preferred/Desired
- Cardiovascular experience.
- Customer/commercial mindset; analytical, digital, and teamwork/enterprise mindset; patient-centricity; strong learning agility and communication.
Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Field (US): $124,090–$150,370; additional incentive cash/stock may be available.
