Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community - Palm Bay, FL. Field-based position focused on engaging Health Care Providers to drive adoption of BMS medicines, delivering scientifically accurate information, and building credible relationships within the cardiovascular portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains and grows scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas; prepares and executes comprehensive territory and account plans.
  • Uses tools such as CE^3 to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.
  • Delivers fair and balanced scientific dialogue with HCPs; conducts in-office presentations and organizes external speaker programs.
  • Maintains working knowledge of emerging data; facilitates real-time medical support when needed.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with other field teams to enhance the customer experience; shares insights with internal stakeholders.
  • Adheres to all laws, regulations, and policies governing conduct of business.

Qualifications

  • Required: Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific data accurately to support patient care.
  • Demonstrated credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create a differentiated customer experience.
  • Experience in cardiovascular topics preferred.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and a track record of meeting/exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills with proven performance.

Education

  • Advanced scientific degree or equivalent experience.
