Position Summary
- Field-based TAS role (anticipated 100% time in the field with external customers). Primary goal: drive demand for BMS medicines for appropriate patients and deliver differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote approved indications within a defined territory/region to meet/exceed sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by communicating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build/maintain scientific expertise; prepare comprehensive territory/account plans.
- Use CE^3 (if implemented) to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conduct fair/balanced scientific dialogue using approved resources; ensure medical accuracy.
- Lead in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs (Speakers Bureau approved list).
- Maintain expertise on emerging approved indication data.
- Engage Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions/complex technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights with internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse roles.
- Ability to accurately and convincingly communicate scientific/clinical data.
- Credibility-building with key customers and a customer-centric mindset.
- Experience in cardiovascular (preferred).
- Account management/selling competence with demonstrated track record meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness with positive, can-do attitude.
