Position Summary
- Field-based Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) driving demand for BMS medicines by delivering differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
- Primary point of contact for regional thought leaders and community-based HCPs; liaises cross-functionally to meet HCP needs in a timely, scientific, and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed compliant sales targets.
- Create demand by articulating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use SOPHIA to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Present label-consistent, medically accurate information using approved resources/publications.
- Conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Stay current on emerging data; respond to unsolicited/technical questions via Medical on Call.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams; share insights internally with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience (healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse).
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Proven credibility-building with key customers/office staff; customer-centric mindset.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Account management, selling competencies, and track record meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness with positive, can-do attitude.
- Strong selling and promotional skills.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Field (United States): US $124,090β$150,370.
- Additional incentive cash/stock may be available (eligibility-based).
