Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in the Cardiovascular portfolio for appropriate patients via differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Serve as primary field contact to regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs; liaise with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: Promote approved indications; create compliant demand by articulating clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise; develop territory/account plans; use SOPHIA to inform call plans; provide tool insights to leadership.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue: Present approved scientific resources with medical accuracy; conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs; stay current on emerging data; use Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and technical inquiries.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with field teams; gather/share insights internally.
Required Qualifications & Experience / Skills
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately; build credibility with customers.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Proven account management, selling/promotional skills, and sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and positive, can-do mindset.
