Role Summary

Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist, Cardiovascular Community, CV Brooklyn, NY. Field-based role focused on driving demand for BMS medicines within the cardiovascular portfolio, engaging Health Care Providers with scientific dialogue, and delivering a differentiated customer experience in line with label support and CE3 tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory to meet or exceed sales targets in a compliant manner.
  • Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use in appropriate patients.
  • Maintains deep scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas; prepares and implements territory and account plans.
  • Utilizes CE3 and other tools to derive insights and inform call plans; provides feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Delivers fair and balanced scientific dialogue; conducts in-office presentations and organizes external speaker programs in line with approvals.
  • Maintains working expertise on emerging data; provides real-time medical support when needed.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience and shares insights with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP roles, or nursing.
  • Ability to communicate scientific data accurately to support patient care.
  • Proven credibility with key customers and a customer-centric mindset to create differentiated customer experience.
  • Experience in cardiovascular products required.
  • Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with a positive team mindset.
  • Strong selling and promotional skills with a proven performance record.

Education
