Position Summary
- Field-based Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) role driving demand for BMS medicines for appropriate patients through a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) with deeper, label-consistent scientific dialogue.
- Builds and maintains credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs; liaises with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically; prioritizes safe and appropriate use of BMS products and business results.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications within a defined territory to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for use in appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow high-level scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Use tools such as SOPHIA to derive insights and dynamically inform call plans; provide feedback to leadership for continuous improvement.

Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Present approved scientific resources/publications accurately and with medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch-and-learns) consistent with label.
- Organize external speaker programs (select speakers from Speakers Bureau list; facilitate scheduling/logistics).
- Maintain expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
- Use Medical on Call to answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.

Cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with other field teams to ensure best Customer Experience for HCPs.
- Gather and share insights internally with appropriate stakeholders.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nurse roles.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately to help physicians serve patients.
- Proven credibility-building with key customers and stakeholders via customer-centric mindset and desire for positive/differentiated Cx.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Demonstrated account management and selling competencies; proven sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally with positive team mindset and can-do attitude.
- Strong selling and promotional skills proven by performance.
