Position Summary
- Field-based Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) driving demand for BMS medicines in assigned territory by engaging HCPs through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and scientific dialogue.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promote approved indications within territory to meet/exceed compliant sales targets.
- Create demand by communicating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Maintain/grow scientific expertise; prepare and implement territory/account plans.
- Use tools (e.g., SOPHIA) for insights and dynamic call planning; provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Use approved resources/publications; ensure medical accuracy.
- Conduct in-office presentations; discuss label-consistent scientific information.
- Organize external speaker programs (speaker selection, scheduling/logistics).
- Maintain expertise on emerging data for approved indications; use Medical on Call for unsolicited questions/technical inquiries.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Collaborate with field teams; share insights internally to improve customer service.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years pharma/biotech experience as healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Proven credibility with customers/office staff; customer-centric mindset.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Strong account management, selling competencies, and track record meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness; strong selling/promotional skills.

Compensation & Benefits (as stated)
- Field (United States): $124,090β$150,370; may include incentive cash/stock (eligibility-based).
