Position Summary
- Drive demand for BMS cardiovascular medicines for appropriate patients by delivering differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Build credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs as primary point of contact.
- Liaise with BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically; prioritize safe and appropriate use of BMS products.
- Field-based role; spend much of time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Promotion: promote approved indications to meet/exceed sales targets; create demand using balanced clinical/scientific rationale; maintain/grow scientific expertise; develop territory/account plans; use SOPHIA for insights and dynamic call planning; provide feedback to leadership.
- Scientific Dialogue: present approved scientific resources/publications with medical accuracy; conduct in-office presentations (e.g., lunch & learns); organize external speaker programs; maintain knowledge of emerging data; use Medical on Call for unsolicited/technical inquiries.
- Cross-functional collaboration: partner with other field teams; share insights with internal stakeholders.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and BMS policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse roles.
- Ability to communicate clinical/scientific data accurately.
- Track record building credibility with key customers and delivering differentiated Cx.
- Cardiovascular experience preferred.
- Strong account management/selling competencies and proven goal attainment.
- Cross-functional effectiveness and positive team mindset.
