Role Summary
Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist responsible for driving full lifecycle recruitment in a high-growth biotechnology environment, partnering with Talent Acquisition and HR to attract, engage, and secure top-tier talent aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement recruitment plans to source exceptional candidates for a diverse range of roles, leveraging industry knowledge and innovative sourcing techniques.
- Manage a portfolio of open requisitions, overseeing job description development, outreach, resume screening, interview methodologies, communications, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Cultivate and optimize sourcing channels—including social media, professional networks, and job boards—to identify high-caliber talent.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with placement agencies, contract recruiters, and external partners to ensure a compelling employer brand across recruiting campaigns.
- Oversee the ATS, ensure compliance with standards, and deliver insights through reporting on hiring trends, turnover, and candidate experience.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders, providing market intelligence and talent strategy guidance.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment, seeking opportunities to enhance recruitment processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruitment within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sector; agency experience valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in workforce planning, employer branding, and advanced interview techniques.
- Understanding of practice areas within a growing biotechnology organization.
- Mastery of ATS, HR databases, and recruitment analytics.
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proven success in designing and executing recruitment strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Track record of success in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
