Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Contractor) — Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for U.S.-based roles, primarily supporting G&A functions (e.g., Finance, Legal, IT, and Facilities) and other business areas as needed.
- Manage end-to-end recruiting (intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer development/negotiation, and onboarding coordination).
- Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, targeted outreach, referrals, and other techniques.
- Build and maintain pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs, including hard-to-fill and niche roles.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to define requirements and provide consultative guidance.
- Provide market insights (talent availability, compensation trends, competitive landscape).
- Manage/collaborate with external recruiting agencies as needed (goals, timelines, budgets).
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable U.S. employment laws and company policies.
- Manage/optimize recruiting in Workday Recruiting (data accuracy, compliance, candidate experience).
- Collaborate with TA and HR teams to drive consistent, scalable recruiting processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (global organization preferred); biotech/pharma/life sciences (regulated industry) strongly preferred.
- Proven success recruiting G&A/corporate functions and/or other functional areas across multiple job families and seniority levels.
- Advanced sourcing expertise (LinkedIn Recruiter, proactive pipelines).
- Hands-on Workday Recruiting (or similar ATS) experience.
- Ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously with strong attention to detail and urgency.
- Excellent stakeholder management/communication; can influence senior leaders.
- Strong project management; comfortable in a matrixed, fast-moving environment.
- Hybrid: able to work onsite 3 days/week at South San Francisco HQ.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting rapid growth, organizational change, or temporary talent needs.
- Knowledge of employer branding and engaging passive talent in competitive U.S. markets.
- Experience with external search firms and contingent recruiting support.
Pay Range:
- $60.00–$75.00 per hour (U.S. hiring range for fully qualified candidates; may vary by factors including internal equity and geography).
