Senior Staff, HR Business Partner - BioInsight (San Diego / Hybrid)

Role: Senior Staff HR Business Partner supporting Illumina's BioInsight organization, focusing on translating business and scientific priorities into effective talent and organizational strategies. Responsibilities: partner with senior leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness, design workforce structures, drive leadership development, succession planning, and talent management; leverage workforce data, analytics, and AI to inform decisions; advise on change management and the impact of emerging technologies like AI on workforce evolution. Qualifications: typically 12+ years related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years with a Master’s; experience in complex, highly skilled biotech or life sciences environments, supporting scientific, data/AI, or bioinformatics teams preferred; strong expertise in organization design, talent strategy, and leveraging AI in HR processes; excellent consulting, influencing, and data-driven decision-making skills.
