Senior Specialty Representative β Cardiovascular
Responsibilities:
- Provide current, comprehensive product knowledge and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
- Serve as a sales leader to achieve territory sales via branded messages, planned programs, and medical educational programs (in-person and virtual) while meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Manage and service accounts by tailoring discussions to customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving/triaging reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts.
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy; analyze sales effectiveness and territory data; develop territory plans with the District Manager.
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve.
- Uphold Amgen values throughout the sales cycle.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree + 3 years sales and/or non-sales-related clinical experience in a healthcare/scientific field; OR
- Associate degree + 6 years; OR
- High school diploma/GED + 8 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years sales/marketing and/or clinical experience in relevant industries.
- Product or hospital sales experience in specified therapeutic areas (e.g., oncology/cardiology/inflammation) and related diseases/treatments.
- Advanced influencing/relationship-building; local market knowledge.
