Location: Mettawa, IL headquarters (hybrid Tues–Thurs in office).

Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific support for gastroenterology on-market products; perform accurate medical review of promotional and non-promotional materials.
- Create externally facing and training materials to meet customer needs.
- Maintain expert product/labeling, disease state, literature, treatment guidelines, competitor info, and marketing strategies for assigned TA(s).
- Manage complex/therapeutic area projects and therapeutic team medical review workload supporting commercial/medical strategies.
- Evaluate literature and interpret complex data; write and present clearly to internal/external audiences; collaborate/negotiates with cross-functional counterparts.
- Act as subject matter expert; provide executable recommendations to senior management.
- Anticipate/resolve risk issues with potential financial, legal, or regulatory impact; elevate when appropriate.
- Mentor/onboard new employees; lead informally when needed.
- Develop non-promotional field/affiliate resources; ensure medical communication standards, pharmacovigilance standards, SOPs, and quality/compliance alignment.
- Provide input into externally facing materials (e.g., Congress Booth, Ad Boards, Med Ed) and educational initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Scientific degree required; advanced degree preferred (MS, PhD, MD/DO, PharmD, NP, MSN).
- 2–3 years clinical/scientific/research/industry experience; leadership/team-building in a global matrixed environment; therapeutic area understanding required.
- Desirable: clinical trial design knowledge; regulatory/compliance requirements for promotional/non-promotional materials.

- Fast-paced, high-urgency execution; manage multiple priorities; strong project management/teamwork; influence without authority.
