Senior Regional Sales Manager, Eye Care – California

Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed corporate sales objectives for the Region within assigned geographies.
- Plan, direct, implement, and provide full oversight of Territory Manager policies and activities for the region.
- Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing Territory Managers.
- Assess developmental needs and provide individualized development and coaching.
- Drive regional performance while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Provide consistent, proactive, individualized coaching to Territory Managers; counsel the sales team to overcome performance deficiencies.
- Demonstrate company culture norms through actions, leadership style, and collaboration.
- Foster a people-first, high-performing culture focused on collaboration, inclusiveness, and accountability.
- Manage and allocate resources within the region; ensure execution and pull-through based on growth opportunities.
- Ensure Sales & Marketing plan implementation and consistent execution with corporate goals and objectives.
- Work closely with Sales Leadership and HR to address performance gaps.
- Review regional data and dashboards to identify methods to obtain additional business and understand opportunities.
- Build and cultivate relationships with the Eye Care community; serve as an Ambassador to key customers and Senior Leadership.
- Stay updated on the Eye Care marketplace and latest business developments within the region.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance policies; maintain integrity and professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 6–8+ years of pharmaceutical/medical/related sales experience with technical knowledge, selling techniques, and medical terminology.
- Eye Care experience strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of management experience required (or combination of experience/education considered).
- Live within the geography of responsibility or within reasonable driving distance.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel, including extensive overnight travel; evenings/weekends as needed.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, applicable CRM, and similar databases.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, comprehension, reading, writing).

Compensation:
- Salary range: $164,000 - $246,000.
