Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing plans for products/therapeutic areas; translate clinical/scientific data into commercial implications.
- Lead primary/secondary market research (including labeling/advertising), analyze results, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Provide marketing insight to optimize new product launches; recommend pricing strategies; monitor budget/expenditures.
- Ensure product placement/development aligns with market needs; support short- and long-range expansion strategies.
- Represent marketing on cross-functional teams with product development, production, and manufacturing.
- Maintain deep knowledge of regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), influencers, treatment/utilization trends, and opportunities/challenges.
- Identify/develop KOLs to build advocacy; lead/moderate regional advisory boards.
- Manage regional Speakerβs Bureau (programs, metrics, speaker training) and lead peer-to-peer conference initiatives.
- Attend conferences/symposiums for insight; partner with sales leadership to implement customized regional tactics and drive efficiencies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 7+ years pharmaceutical/healthcare experience; hematology/oncology marketing and sales required.
- 2+ years direct experience with hematology thought leaders and demonstrated access to key accounts.
- Commercial hematology/oncology launch experience preferred.
- Active hematology KOL relationships in current geography; ability to develop relationships with academic and community KOLs.
- Proficiency executing marketing initiatives; proven track record meeting qualitative/quantitative goals.
- Strong written/oral communication; ethical, highly professional; team player.
- Bachelorβs degree in marketing or related field required; MBA preferred.
- Significant travel pre-launch; travel post-launch ~35β50%.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Anticipated salary range: $200,000β$240,000; commission-based with possible equity incentive awards.
