Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures; use sound design, early risk assessments, and fallback strategies to ensure quality and effectiveness of major project results.
- Plan and conduct high business impact projects in Drug Product Manufacturing or Packaging; achieve financial targets and maintain cost, scope, and schedule reporting/controls.
- Develop execution strategy, including procurement; balance multiple demands; align project scope with customer needs and cGMP requirements; incorporate foresight of emerging technological trends.
- Serve as SME for Facility, Equipment, and Utilities during Regulatory Agencies audits; prepare documentation packages and present information to regulatory agents.
- Produce unique, cost-effective solutions; establish alternate use possibilities and flexibility; integrate financial and technical data; analyze complex interdisciplinary problems and draw conclusions reflecting broad business needs.
- Represent engineering on corporate task forces; identify customer/client needs and propose solutions; may supervise engineers/technicians and participate in evaluation/development needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering/Science or closely related discipline desired, or equivalent technical experience; 6+ years significant engineering and/or operational experience desired; post-graduate education desired.
- Demonstrated competency within a discipline.
- Strong technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedures; ability to work complex-scope problems and use judgment within defined procedures.
- Interpersonal skills to negotiate and reconcile differences in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Experience working with diverse engineering groups; communicate tactfully and respectfully orally, in writing, and in presentations.
- Technical background in health care, medical devices, pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar industries (preferred).
- Demonstrated competency with financial systems and fiscal control.
