Senior Product Manager, HIV Prevention DTC Marketing (Foster City, CA)
Job Responsibilities:
- Support and manage tactical executions for US HIV Prevention/PrEP consumer initiatives, including online/offline Branded tactics and unbranded PrEP education tactics.
- Develop content and messaging for diverse consumer groups (men who have sex with men, cis-gender women, transgender individuals across race and ethnicity).
- Use traditional and innovative marketing channels (TV, digital, audio, social media, print, point-of-care, out-of-home, CRM) and support creative asset development.
- Lead development of consumer tactics aligned to business strategy and within budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners; solve business problems and improve efficiencies across DTC efforts.
- Manage multiple agency partners to deliverables within timelines and budgets.
- Obtain marketing material approvals through internal review to ensure medical, regulatory, and legal compliance.
- Develop and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
- ~20% travel required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree + 8 years’ experience; or Master’s degree + 6 years’ experience.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- 3+ years in product marketing or advertising focused on consumers or patients.
- Strong marketing fundamentals, promotional strategy, and commercial policy knowledge.
- Experience in marketing, market research, and/or advertising/communications agencies desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate and drive consensus.
- Project management; tactical development, planning, execution, prioritization.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Critical thinking; ability to offer solutions and a clear point of view.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and their impact on marketing materials.
- Proficient budget and timeline management; thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to tailor style/content to audience.
- Comfort discussing HIV/HIV prevention, including sex and sexual identity.
