Role Summary

Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for the Advanced Specialty Team ATTR – Los Angeles (North), CA. Responsible for applying scientific capabilities to positively impact patient outcomes through advanced therapeutic area expertise and strategic account management.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of complex clinical disease states and advanced treatment guidelines.
  • Clearly communicates complex product information to healthcare professionals to positively impact patient outcomes.
  • Analyzes market trends and develops strategic business plans that leverage an understanding of the market landscape, dynamics, and patient access challenges.
  • Addresses customer needs and drives sales performance.
  • Provides solutions to customers by creating tailored experiences that address the unique needs of each account.
  • Collaborates across sales teams and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies and management of key accounts.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and demonstrates a growth mindset with innovative approaches to sales and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required: 8+ years of demonstrated Sales or Commercial experience or a combination of pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, clinical, institutional, or related industry/settings within the healthcare ecosystem
  • Required: Experience in account planning and/or complex reimbursement model
  • Required: A valid driver’s license and safe driving record

  • Advanced Therapeutic Area Expertise: Experience in highly specialized therapeutic areas
  • Clinical Acumen: Ability to understand and communicate cutting-edge scientific research and clinical data
  • Business Acumen: Proficiency in advanced data analysis and use of analytics to drive sales performance
  • Customer Engagement: Ability to engage with senior-level healthcare professionals, including specialists and hospital administrators
  • Growth & Innovation Mindset: Experience developing and implementing innovative sales strategies in a highly specialized market
  • Strategic Partnerships: Experience establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions and research organizations
