The Position
- Set the site People & Organization (P&O) strategic direction and agenda; align local P&O processes and organizational development to site and regional P&O priorities.
- Act as trusted advisor to the Site Head and Site Leadership team; lead high-quality, timely, “fit for purpose” local HR initiatives, operations, and processes.
- Lead and drive P&O activities including employee relations, staffing life cycle, annual performance review and compensation merit cycle, employee development, onboarding, and communications/training completion.
- Serve as formal owner of the Site training strategy and capability development planning/response (workforce planning, capability gaps, training-related deviations), while partnering with the area training organization for execution.
- Partner on organizational development via the Organizational Development Plan (ODP).
- Continuously improve the employee life cycle process in alignment with global standards and partner with Talent & Rewards Operations.
- Manage key process communications (e.g., merit increase, performance management, mid-year review, onboarding) and drive internal/external communications.
- Serve as P&O site spokesperson/representative for external groups (public sector, volunteerism, social responsibility), ensuring consistency across sites.
- Establish and align the master plan for P&O; plan/execute onboarding aligned with recruitment.
- Model and teach NNWay culture; perform duties with safety/environment compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Human Resources or related field + 7 years HR generalist/project management (prefer pharma manufacturing).
- May consider: Associate’s + 9 years; or High School/GED + 11 years. Master’s preferred; PHR/SPHR preferred.
- Required: execution experience with organizational development (performance appraisal, IDPs, staffing, problem resolution, future planning, engagement surveys); experience developing/implementing policies/programs supporting positive employee relations.
- Required: employment law/policy knowledge; HR IT system knowledge; excellent written/verbal/presentation skills; strategic and analytical skills.
- Preferred: change management process knowledge.
