Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day U.S. payroll operations (expats, relocation, new hires, LOAs, benefits, terminations, tax inquiries, helpdesk, employee changes).
- Monitor and respond to cases via Employee Service Center ticketing system.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, Controller’s Manual finance policies, and tax/labor law requirements.
- Support year-end processing.
- Execute and deliver payroll processing controls; enforce internal controls over payroll financial and business process aspects.
- Perform payroll reporting, validations, and manage complex payroll datasets.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes to increase efficiency.
- Promote a positive team environment; lead and support payroll staff.
- Other duties/special projects as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree + 5 years’ experience OR Master’s degree + 3 years’ experience.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- 4+ years payroll operations experience for a multinational organization.
- Workday Payroll proficiency; CPP certification.
- Cross-functional partnership building.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, organization, multitasking, and prioritization.
- Advanced Microsoft skills (Outlook, Visio, intermediate Excel: VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.).
- Global finance experience; biotech/pharma experience a plus.
- Fast-paced environment capability; detail oriented.

Compensation/Benefits (if eligible):
- Salary range: $94,690–$122,540; may include discretionary bonus, stock incentives, paid time off, and medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
