Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS) Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to health care providers and specialists.
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience and the overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by linking account/business landscape insights with knowledge of Pfizer products and resources.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS (accredited) OR associate’s degree with 8+ years experience; OR high school diploma/equivalent with 10+ years relevant experience.
- Travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license; no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years.
- Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical sales OR 4 years oncology HCP experience working with key oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care.
- Demonstrated track record of success in pharmaceutical sales/HCP experience.
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific product and disease-management information.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications; adapt to Pfizer’s technology model.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years oncology sales; experience in gynecologic oncology.
- Master’s degree; advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.
Functional/Technical Skills (required):
- Promote broad portfolio; strong disease-state/therapeutic area/product knowledge.
- Strategic territory/account/customer planning; generate demand.
- Relationship management across institutions; overcome access barriers.
- Cultivate KOL relationships; assess needs and respond with appropriate resources.
- Engage/influence customers; excellent communication/interpersonal/leadership.
- Quickly learn and work in a matrix environment.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Annual base salary range: $108,600–$250,700; sales incentive bonus; 401(k) with matching and additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision).
