Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS) responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing the account/business landscape and leveraging Pfizer products/resources.
Basic qualifications:
- BA/BS (accredited) OR associate’s degree with 8+ years experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years relevant experience.
- Travel domestically/overnight as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license; no DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within past 7 years.
- 4+ years Pharmaceutical Sales OR 4+ years Oncology HCP experience calling on key oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care.
- Track record of success in sales/HCP experience.
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific product and disease management information.
- Business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3–5 years oncology sales; prostate cancer TA experience.
- Master’s degree or advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and KOLs.
Functional/technical skills include:
- Strategic account planning/selling; generate demand; cultivate KOL relationships; maintain institutional relationships; overcome access barriers; work in matrix environment.
Benefits/compensation explicitly stated:
- Base salary range: $108,600–$250,700; additional sales incentive bonus.
- During initial training: non-exempt (overtime eligible); after certification: exempt.
