Role: Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS)

Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s product portfolio to health care providers and specialists.
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by linking assessment of the account/business landscape with knowledge of Pfizer products and resources.

Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution OR associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards (DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies).
- Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical sales experience OR minimum 4 years Oncology HCP experience working with key oncology thought leaders/high influence customers in hospitals, large group practices, or managed care organizations.
- Demonstrated track record of success in pharmaceutical sales or HCP experience.
- Ability to communicate technical/scientific product and disease management information.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency using complex digital applications; ability to adapt to Pfizer’s long-range technology model.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years Oncology sales experience.
- Prostate Cancer Therapeutic Area experience.
- Master’s degree; Advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.

Skills (Functional/Technical):
- Promote broad product portfolio; strong disease/therapeutic area/product knowledge.
- Strategic account selling/management; develop territory/account/customer plans.
- Generate demand in assigned accounts; maintain institution relationships; access difficult-to-see providers.
- Cultivate KOL and top-priority customer relationships; assess and address physician/account needs.
- Superior selling/technical/relationship skills; ability to engage/influence/support through the selling process.
- Quick learning in rapidly changing environments; matrix teamwork and leveraging multiple resources.
