Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS)
Role Responsibilities
- Promote Pfizer’s product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products
- Call on accounts and organized customers to improve patients’ experience and overall quality of patient care
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing account/business landscape and linking insights to Pfizer products/resources
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- BA/BS (accredited) OR Associate’s degree with 8+ years experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years relevant experience
- Domestic travel with overnight stays as necessary
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record (DUI/DWI or impaired driving within past 7 years disqualifies)
- Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical sales OR 4 years oncology HCP experience with oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers
- Demonstrated track record of success
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific product and disease-management information
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Proficiency with complex digital applications and ability to adapt to Pfizer’s technology model
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–5 years oncology sales; Prostate cancer TA experience
- Master’s degree or advanced HCP degree
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and KOLs
Functional/Technical Skills
- Promote broad portfolio; strong disease/therapeutic area/product knowledge
- Strategic territory/account planning; generate demand
- Relationship-building with institutions and KOLs; influence across selling process
- Ability to quickly learn new ways of working; work in matrix environment

- Annual base salary range: $108,600–$250,700; additional sales incentive bonus; overtime classification during initial training then exempt after certification.
