Senior Oncology Account Specialist (SOAS)
Responsibilities:
- Promote Pfizer’s oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers and specialists.
- Educate healthcare community on appropriate use of Pfizer products.
- Call on accounts/organized customers to improve patient experience and overall quality of patient care.
- Increase Pfizer’s brand with high-value target customers by assessing account/business landscape and leveraging Pfizer products/resources.
- Promote a broad product portfolio; generate demand in assigned accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic territory/account/customer plans; manage accounts.
- Maintain institutional relationships; gain access to difficult-to-reach HCPs/customers.
- Cultivate KOL relationships and build lasting relationships with priority customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS from an accredited institution OR associate’s degree + 8+ years experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) + 10+ years relevant experience.
- Domestic travel with overnight stays as necessary.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record (any DUI/DWI/impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies).
- Minimum 4 years pharmaceutical sales OR 4 years oncology HCP experience working with key oncology thought leaders/high-influence customers (hospitals, large group practices, or managed care).
- Demonstrated track record of success.
- Ability to communicate technical/scientific information.
- Demonstrated business acumen.
- Proficiency with complex digital applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3–5 years oncology sales; lung cancer therapeutic area experience.
- Master’s degree; advanced HCP degree.
- Experience calling on institutions, NCI centers, and Key Opinion Leaders.

- Annual base salary range: $108,600–$250,700; sales incentive bonus; 401(k) with Pfizer matching + additional retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; paid caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/dental/vision.
